For mechanical processing (milling, drilling, grinding), we at Miba Cooling rely on state-of-the-art processing machines. The result is heat sinks with high precision - especially with regard to evenness and surface finish.
The joining of individual parts represents a decisive step in the production of assemblies and prototypes. Depending on the application, the appropriate joining technology - vacuum brazing, hard soldering, soft soldering, press-fitting, adhesive bonding or friction stir welding - is used.

Efficient manufacturing of components increases their service life. That's why at Miba Cooling, in addition to conventional methods, we work with the latest joining technology, such as vacuum brazing, in the development and production of cooling solutions
Vacuum brazing enables the combination of different material pairings and allows a higher degree of freedom in the design. This technique is particularly suitable for developing a heat sink for complicated component geometries: it brings advantages due to a large-area connection. It also leads to higher strength and reduces distortion due to the low thermal stress in the joining process.
This allows components to be joined in areas that are no longer accessible after assembly. For example, in this way, complex channel geometries can be realized inside a water heat sink, ensuring outstanding thermal efficiency.
